4 Day - Climbing/Camping (Red River Gorge, Ky)

Trips are available May-June / September-November

Project Forty Adventure Trips are outdoor experiences for groups or families to promote engaging relationship growth by leaving technology behind and diving into creation, literally. These four-day adventures ranging anywhere from a car-camping climbing trip to a full-on backpacking and rappelling adventure are great tools to build the relationships of the participants. This is another useful tool for parents and youth leaders to creatively challenge students to evaluate daily decisions and provide real support as they venture out into their “unknown.”

Climbing is one of those activities that you won’t believe it until you try it for yourself. It takes on a personal challenge that allows the daily stresses of life melt away for a moment and all energy is singular focused on that next move. Take the drive to Michigan’s local crag, which happens to be in Kentucky where climbers from around the world go to project the steep walls of the Red River Gorge. No skill required, just the ambition to try something new!

Trip Outline

This is the perfect trip for those wanting some daily adventure but still enjoy coming back to a warm bed every night. We will be staying right in Munising and commuting to the climbs daily.

Ice climbing is already a gear-intensive sport, add in winter camping in the backcountry it adds up quickly. We are able to bridge the gap with a full inventory of rental gear to make this experience accessible to anyone. From rain shells to crampons we have you covered!

An AMGA certified guide will be running this trip, there to set anchors and belays to ensure everyones safety on the ice.

The cost of an Airbnb is included in the trips cost.

We will be driving everyone up to Munising after meeting in Flint.

Each trip is catered to the group's needs for gear so prices vary. Contact us to get a specific price for your next adventure.
